Service Issue: SFTP, FTP, WEBDav

For weeks now we have had a service alert telling us that SFTP, FTP, WEBDav are causing problems. I have created two TICKETS complaining, the second time asking for a resolution time. None is forthcoming.

I use Kodi to stream video via SFTP / FTP. This currently doesn't work even for smaller files. Half my reason for using Livedrive has now gone with no indications about progress.

Is anybody else having similar problems? Is their a workaround that enables viewing with the original film quality? Has anyone information about progress being made on finding a solution.

I have just had an email from Livedrive support saying that they hope they have resolved the FTP problem by making 'significant changes'. They have also requested that I , and other users, test FTP and SFTP to see if things are operating properly.

So far, I have tested my Kodi TV box, an Android tablet and a PC. I'm reserving judgement for a while. All files below 2Gb stream instantly and well. Video files of 8Gb or more take a while to initiate but run smoothly after that. Best result has been a 32Gb 3D video file. This ran perfectly. To achieve that in Kodi it is necessary to configure the cache to have greater capacity. This is an option on PCs and my TV box, but not on phones and low-powered tablets.
