Setting up automatic login for Livedrive on startup

Postby BooBoo1 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 6:43 pm

Hi there,
I have been using Livedrive for 2 years and I have only just noticed that it does not automatically log me in when I start up my laptop.
I asked the reseller but they refused to help me unless I paid for their support!
They suggested I google it so here I am.
I am using windows 7 on a laptop and I just need to know how to make sure my livedrive starts up and logs in automatically so my files are backed up.
I am quite worried that this has not been the case for the whole time I have been using it.
Thanks in advance for your help

I use the Backup facility only and as I can run multiple users on a server OS I can have a session running as a backup admin user run at start-up through Task scheduler.
Triggers: At Startup
Action: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Livedrive\Livedrive.exe"

As a laptop user where it does not need to be forced to be on 24/7 then change Triggers to At Logon, run with highest privileges and it should do the job !

On the taskbar adjacent the clock (Desktop view) you will find the Livedrive Blue Icon. Right Click (Context Menu) and select Livedrive Settings.
The Security tab has a [x] Always keep me logged in box.

This should meet your needs.
